Therapy
"What did you think, that joy was some slight thing?"
—Mark Doty
The common view of therapy is that it's a place to unload and unpack the woes that plague you. Many of us are accustomed to thinking that joy is 'some slight thing', that our shadows are far more complex and compelling. Contrary to this, my experiences as a therapist have revealed to me how people's resilience, hopes and dreams are far more sophisticated and worthy of examination than the underbellies of their so-called demons. I am passionate about helping people reclaim joy; to find possibilities where they only see walls.
